You're not behind. You're just getting started.
Midlife Money Playbook is a growing collection of financial “plays” designed for people in their 40s and 50s who want clarity before action.
This site isn’t about quick tips, hacks, or hype. It’s about understanding which strategies actually apply to you — and just as importantly, which ones don’t.
Each play walks through what a strategy is, who it’s for, who it’s not for, and how to think about it realistically. Not everyone should run every play.
I’m writing this because I’ve spent years working with people who are thoughtful, responsible, and financially curious — but who feel stuck or unsure because the advice they see is either oversimplified or overwhelming.
This project is meant to be slow, practical, and durable. You don’t need to read everything. You don’t need to do everything.
Start with a play that feels relevant, and take it from there.
